We recommend measuring your child before buying outerwear. The best starting point for choosing the right size is your child's height. Many just consider their child's age but this may be misleading if your child is a little above or below average height for their age.

We recommend choosing your child's current size and not "go one size up". We have already added "a little extra" so there is room for your child to grow. Choosing a size too big can also inhibit your child's freedom of movement and the ability to keep warm enough. However, if your child is in between two sizes we do recommend choosing the larger of the two sizes. We also recommend the large size if your child is robustly built, has long legs or a long back.

All measurements are given in centimeters.
